PPL Autumn’18 Edition Day 4 - Winners

Day 4 of the PPL Autumn’18 Edition featured 5 events including 2 massive guarantee events - 20 LAC GTD The Summit – taken down by Anujkumar “aatman” Kodam and the 50 LAC GTD Highroller event, which was won by “Whysoserious”. For the first time this series, Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta gives up the lead in the Leaderboard race, which saw “WhySoSerious” inch past him after last night’s results. Amar currently stands in second place, with familiar faces “sherlock52” and “kornkid” following in third and fourth place respectively.

Let’s take a look at last night’s results:

Event #16: 3 LAC GTD (3RE)

Day 4 of the PPL Autumn’18 Edition kicked off with a 3 LAC GTD re-entry event. 204 players put up the initial buy-in fee of INR 1,100 along with 244 re-entries, taking the total prize pool to INR 4,48,000. The top 35 players were paid out and it was “lakshmimata” who finished on top of the field, earning himself a payday of INR 87,360. Heads-up action saw him defeat “Borntogamble”- who received INR 64,960 for his second place finish.

Event #17: 2 LAC GTD 6-max (RE)

Next up was a 2 LAC GTD 6-max re-entry event. 221 players took to the felts for this one, each investing INR 550 and fighting for a piece of the total prize pool which stood at INR 2,42,500. It was eventually “Junta” who finished in pole position, recording his first win of the season and a payday of INR 47,287. “poker7664” finished runner up, earning INR 35,162 in the process.

Event #18: 2 LAC GTD Time Bomb

Event number three for the day was a 2 LAC GTD Time Bomb event with play time of 60 minutes. 183 entrants took part in the event, with 29 eventually surviving to make the money. Finishing on top of the survivors was “THENUTS”, who scored a payday of INR 27,520. “LungFakeer” finished the event in second place earning INR 16,540 for his finish.

Event #19: 20 LAC GTD The Summit Monster Stack (5RE)

The first featured event of Day 4 was The Summit Monster Stack – boasting a massive INR 20 LAC in guaranteed prize pool. 242 entrants registered for the INR 8,250 buy-in event along with 196 re-entries, taking the final prize pool up to a massive INR 32,85,000. The top 39 players were paid out but it was MTT crusher and former ‘The MoneyMaker’ champion Anujkumar “aatman” Kodam who received the biggest chunk of INR 6,32,362 for winning the marathon event. He defeated “dembla” heads-up- who received a hefty second place prize of INR 4,68,112.

Event #20: 50 LAC GTD HighRoller 6-max (5RE)

The final event of the Day was the Highroller Event, which featured a guaranteed prize pool of INR 50 LAC for a buy-in amount of INR 27,500. 164 entrants along with an additional 100 re-entries saw the pool eventually rocket up to INR 66,00,000. 26 players were paid out, with the top prize of INR 13,36,500 going to “WhySoSerious”. Tournament regular “Qweasdzxc” finished in second place, scoring a healthy payday of INR 10,06,500.
