Winners, Game Insights and Highlights: PPL Autumn’18 Edition – Day 7

The PPL Autumn’18 Edition concluded last night on The 4.5 Crore GTD week-long series outdid itself yet again, creating new records along the way. Yesterday witnessed the conclusion of Events 29-34 along with the 1 Crore GTD Main Event of the Series – The MoneyMaker. The stellar event attracted 715 players but the day belonged to “stringbet710”- who is the new MoneyMaker and winner of a surreal payday of INR 33,92,500!

After an intense and grueling week on the felts, the Leaderboard race for the Season comes to an end and we see Akshay “sherlock52” Nasa finishing right on top with 3310 points. He managed to inch past “WhySoSerious” and his 3297 points on the final day of the series. The PPL Fantasy League Leaderboard was taken down by team “luck” belonging to player “Bloodless”.

Let’s take a look at last night’s results:

Event #29: 2 LAC GTD (RE)

Day 7 of the PPL Autumn’18 Edition kicked off with a 2 LAC GTD re-entry event. 201 players put up the initial buy-in fee of INR 550 along with 204 re-entries. The top 35 players were paid out and it was “Samurai420”” who finished on top of the field, earning himself a payday of INR 39,487. Heads-up action saw him defeat “Ziigmund”- who received INR 29,362 for his second place finish.

Event #30: 5 LAC GTD PLO (RE)

Next up was a 5 LAC GTD PLO event. 125 players took to the felts for this one, each investing INR 2,750 and fighting for a piece of the total prize pool which finally stood at INR 6,40,000. It was eventually “Nbackdown” who finished in pole position, recording his first win of the season and a payday of INR 1,40,800. “sherlock52” finished runner up, earning INR 1,05,600 in the process.

Event #31: 1 CRORE GTD Main Event- The MoneyMaker

Event number three for the Day was the featured event of the entire series – the 1 Crore GTD Main Event – The MoneyMaker. The event roped in a field of 715 players and 642 re-entries, taking the total prize pool to a jaw-dropping INR 1,35,70,000! Nearly ten hours later, we found our champion and The new MoneyMaker – “stringbet710” – who took home the title and life-changing first place prize money of INR 33,82,500! “NaNki” finished in second place, earning himself a massive payday of INR 19,67,650.

Event #32: 20 LAC GTD BSS Super Stack (5RE)

Next in line was the BSS 20 LAC GTD Super Stack re-entry event. 270 players put up the initial buy-in fee of INR 5,500, along with an additional 211 re-entries, taking the total prize pool to a whopping INR 24,05,000! The top 44 Players were paid out but it was “akj290” who received the biggest chunk of INR 4,56,950 for winning the event. He defeated “OMG_spew” heads-up- who received a hefty second place prize of INR 3,36,700.

Event #33: 5 LAC GTD Mega Stack (RE)

Next up was a 5 LAC GTD Mega Stack re-entry event with an entry-fee of INR 2,750. 162 players took to the felts along with 112 re-entries, taking the total prize pool up to INR 6,85,000. 26 players were paid out in the event and it was “akash_durr” who finished on top of the field, recording his first win of the series and a payday of INR 1,38,712. “TheTeacher” was the runner up in this event, receiving INR 1,04,462 for his finish.

Event #34: 2 LAC GTD Time Bomb

The Final event of the Day and the PPL Autumn’18 Edition was a 2 LAC GTD Time Bomb Event with play time of 60 minutes. It attracted a field of 96 players and saw only 13 survive at the end of the set-time. Finishing with the most chips and taking first place in the event was “abhi3333”, who received a payday of INR 34,020. Runner-up was taken by “Dougpolk”, who took home INR 30,560 for his efforts.

The PPL Autumn’18 Leaderboard boasts 10 LAC in assured prizes with INR 2 LAC reserved for the winner.
