The PokerBaazi Premier League Winter’17 Edition concluded yesterday with the last flight of tournaments including the 60 Lac guaranteed Main Event. Here’s a look at the results of yesterday’s events along with the final standings of the Leaderboard and Fantasy League.

 

The 1 Lac Re-entry event kicked off yesterday’s action with a field of 127 players and a total prize pool of INR 1,21,500. Head’s up action saw Rubin ‘kornkid’ Labroo defeat ‘ideatheatre11’ for the win and a score of INR 26,730.

Event 27: 5 Lac Deeptrack Turbo               

The next event of the day was the 5 Lac guaranteed Deepstack Turbo event which attracted a field of 152 players taking the total prize pool to INR 6,35,000. ‘ragesh91’ came out on top of the field with a first-place finish for INR 1,33,350 followed by ‘Zombiefish’ in second place.

Event 28: 3 Lac Turbo RE

The 3 Lac guaranteed Turbo re-entry event roped in 147 players and was once again won by Rubin ‘kornkid’ Labroo who received INR 63,000 for his efforts. Runner-up in this event was ‘singhdgreat’.

Event 29: 60 Lac Main EventEvent 26: 1 Lac RE

The highlight of the Series, this event boasted a guaranteed prize pool of INR 60 LAC and 15 LAC to the winner! It took a little under 10 hours to crown the winner, champion of the PPL Winter Edition Main Event – Rohit ‘Allin47’ Mittal, who wins himself INR 16.35 LAC in addition to the title! Huge congratulations from Team PokerBaazi! The runner-up of this event was Rubin ‘kornkid’ Labroo, who enjoyed a brilliant day on the felts with consistent finishes in every event. He received a sweet score of INR 9.6 LAC for his efforts!

Event 30: 10 Lac FO

The 10 LAC guaranteed Freezeout event was next in line and attracted a field of 163 players. First place and INR 2.02 LAC was claimed by ‘CornerPocket’, who defeated ‘intervntion’ heads up.

Event 31: 2 Lac Turbo RE

 The trademark Hangover’ event wrapped up this edition of the PokerBaazi Premier League Winter’17 Edition. 124 players took a shot at this event with a total prize pool of INR 2.08 LAC, and it was Eka ’gettingthere’ Vedhantham who beat ‘rampage863’ heads up for the win and a prize of INR 45,760.

Congratulations to all the winners of the events all through this edition of the PPL. The series was a great success and saw a brilliant week of poker. The leaderboard race heated up towards the end and it was Rubin ’kornkid Labroo who sealed the deal with some great scores and consistent performance throughout the series. He wins himself INR 3 LAC for finishing on top of the table, and of course the title of ‘Baazigar of the Series’! Congratulations Rubin! This also wraps up standings for the Fantasy League Standings, which was won by Team ‘Ghosts’ with 11, 901 points. Congratulations!

Day 5 of the PokerBaazi Premier League Winter’17 Edition boasted 5 events and was headlined by the Main Event Warm-up Event. Here are the highlights of the day’s action:

Event 21: 1 LAC R+A

The first event of the day was the 1 LAC guaranteed Rebuy/Add-on event and roped in 133 unique entries, taking the total prize pool to INR 1.13 Lac. Heads up action saw ‘omniknight’ defeat ‘avikjt’ for the win and a prize of INR 24,860.

Event 22: 3 LAC RE

This 3 Lac guaranteed Re-entry event was the second of the evening, and attracted 141 entries. It was eventually Akshay ‘sherlock52’ Nasa who took down the event for INR 63,000. Runner up in the event was Shravan ‘FishStars’ Chhabria.

Event 23: 3 LAC Deepstack FO

The 3 Lac guaranteed Deepstack Freezeout event was the third event of the day and roped in 170 entries taking the total prize pool to INR 3.4 Lac. Heads up play saw ‘JDBhaiya’ and ‘mafiamessi’ battle it out for a prize of INR 68,000, and it was finally ‘JDBhaiya’ who came out on top.

Event 24: 15 LAC Warm up

The 15 Lac guaranteed main event warm up was the highlight of the day and attracted 171 entries (+121 re-entries). Pole position in this event rewarded INR 3 Lac, and it was ‘pagla’ who defeated ‘AilaGaya’ heads up to take it down.

Event 25: 2 LAC Turbo R+A

The final event of the day was the 2 Lac guaranteed turbo Rebuy/Add-on event and roped in a field of 90 players. Tournament regular Abhinav ‘griezmann’ Iyer defeated ‘lilmessi’ heads up to take down the event for INR 48,000, securing some valuable Leaderboard points in the process.

Day 6- the final day of the PokerBaazi Premier League Winter’17 Edition, kicks off at 2pm today and is headlined by the Main Event with a whopping guarantee of INR 60 Lac! Day 4 of the PokerBaazi Premier League Winter Edition concluded yesterday and was highlighted by the 25 LAC PLO Highroller. Let’s take a look at yesterday’s action:

Event 16: 1 LAC Deepstack

The 1 LAC guaranteed Deepstack turbo event was the first of the evening, and roped in 169 unique entries (with 202 re-entries), taking the total prize pool to a little under 1.3 LAC. Heads up action saw ‘glass_2016’ defeat ‘AndyBeal’ for the title and a prize of INR 25,970.

Event 17: 2 LAC R+A

The 2 LAC guaranteed Rebuy/Add-on event was next, and attracted a field of 104 players (176 rebuys). Pole position in this event rewarded INR 48,000, and it was tournament regular NeerajSelfClaimedProKumar who beat ‘spiboy314’ heads up and recorded his first win of the PPL Winter Edition.

Event 18: 7 LAC Megastack

This was one of the more popular events of the day, and recorded a field of 138 players fighting for the title and a first place prize of INR 1,78,080. The final table of the event boasted a star studded line-up, including Eka Vedantham, Vidwath Shetty, Nishant Sharma, Vivek Rughani, Abhishek Rathod, Amit Sur, Apaar Gautam and tournament regulars ‘bisadip176’ and ‘checkraised’. It was eventually Eka who finished on top of the field, with Vidwath and Nishanth finishing second and third respectively.

Event 19: 25 LAC PLO HighRoller

The biggest event of the day, this event attracted a field of 128 players and featured a whopping 5.5 LAC for first place! Eka Vedantham had a brilliant day at the office yesterday with yet another win in this PLO Highroller event. After nearly 10 hours of grueling poker, the heads up battle saw Eka defeat ‘vishaltulsyan’ for the title.

Event 20: 2 LAC Turbo R+A

The 2 LAC guaranteed turbo 6-max Rebuy/Add-on event was the last of the evening, and roped in a field of 116 players. ‘ChubbyGhost’ continues his good performance this PPL with yet another win, defeating ‘BAZIGAAR’ heads up for the title and a sweet score of INR 48,000.

The third day of the 2.6 Crore Guaranteed PokerBaazi Premier League Winter'17 Edition saw a total of 5 events and was highlighted by the 50 Lac guaranteed High-roller event. Let’s take a look at how things unfolded in yesterday’s action.

Event 11: 1 Lac R+A

The first event of the day was the 1 Lac guaranteed Rebuy/Add-on event, which attracted 142 unique entries increasing the prize- pool by nearly 50% to INR 1,42,000. ‘Ohno’ defeated ‘usermane’ heads up to take down the event along with a score of INR 29,925.

Event 12: 1.5 Lac RE

The 1.5 Lac guaranteed Re-entry event was the second of the evening, and roped in 147 unique entries with 139 re-entries. Pole position rewarded INR 31,500, and it was ‘gangajal’ who defeated ‘Hades’ heads up to ship this event.

Event 13: 5 Lac Deepstack Turbo              

The 5 Lac guaranteed deepstack turbo event attracted 156 entries along with 92 re-entries, taking the total prize pool to INR 6,20,000. ‘lokpok’ found himself heads up againt ‘sherkhan88’ and managed to win the event along with a hefty payday of INR 1,25,550.

Event 14: 50 Lac High-roller

The biggest event of the day, this 50 Lac guaranteed 6-max high-roller consisted of 146 of the toughest players in the country battling it out for the title of Highroller champion and the jaw-dropping first place prize of INR 10.55 Lac. 55 Re-entries to this event saw the prize pool sum up to INR 50,20,000. A little under 11 hours later, we had our champion – PokerBaazi Team PRO Abhishek Panda defeated ‘OMG_spew’ heads up to seal the deal and title of the PPL Winter Edition High-roller event.

Event 15: 1 Lac Turbo FO

The I Lac guaranteed Turbo Freeze-out event was the last one for Day 3, and attracted 181 entries totaling to a prize pool of INR 1,08,600. ‘FishermanR’ once again finds himself on top of the field, defeating ‘BAZIGAAR’ heads up for the win and a payday of INR 21,720.
