POY 2025: WEEK 21 Update (May 19 – 25)
Week 3 of May 2025 turned out to be a landmark moment for PokerBaazi, not just because of the high-stakes thrill of “The MoneyMaker”, but also due to a game-changing platform update. The much-anticipated PokerBaazi Upgrade 2025 went live on May 22, ushering in the platform’s most advanced gameplay experience to date.

Meanwhile, the 2025 Player of the Year (POY) race saw intense action as leaderboard positions shifted rapidly. Riding high on his “The MoneyMaker” win, Rajasthan’s Neeraj Sattawat briefly claimed the top spot before Maharashtra’s Prahlad Nilange surged ahead.

Week 21 belonged to the big guns of “The MoneyMaker!” Leading the MVP pack was Delhi’s Anmol Mehta, who added another deep run to his resume. Chasing his second title in the marquee event on 25th May, the 2020 PPL Highroller champ and 2022 “G.O.A.T.” podium finisher secured a strong third-place finish. Week 21 saw a thrilling shake-up in the PokerBaazi POY leaderboard, as several underdogs made remarkable leaps.

Leading the charge was Maharashtra’s Shardul Parthasarathi, climbing 168 spots to land at Rank 30 with a score of 993.

West Bengal’s Poker duo—Aditya Agarwal and Goonjan Mall — also impressed, both scoring 991 and vaulting into the top 50 with jumps of 250 and 146 ranks, respectively.

Kerala’s Sreekanth Narayan continued his consistent grind, moving up 41 spots to secure Rank 56.

  • Return on Investment (ROI): Your profits relative to buy-ins, adjusted for the log value of your average buy-in.
  • In the Money (ITM): The number of times you finish in the money, multiplied by the log value of your average buy-in.
  • Tournaments Played: The total number of tournaments you play in 2025.
  • Winnings: Total prize money won in tournaments throughout the year.
  • Final Tables: Number of times you make the final table, multiplied by the square root of participants in those tournaments.
  • 1st Rank: Number of tournament victories, multiplied by the square root of participants.
  • Biggest Score: Your highest single tournament score of the year.
